William S. Carlson, Class of 1929 Fund:
Established November 2010 with a bequest from the estate of William S. Carlson. Designated for undergraduate scholarships.
Reynolds M Denning Memorial Endowment:
To support "needy or worthy" MS or Ph.D. candidates in the field of mineralogy and their research via fellowships or research grants, short term appointment of postdoctorates, visiting professors or scholars on sabbatical leave, or a named professorship in mineralogy, or to establish an endowed chair that would be for either short or long term appointments.
Joseph and Anna Drobek Trust:
For a scholarship to benefit an undergraduate or graduate student chosen for merit. Historically used for first year graduate fellowships and graduate student aid.
Eric J. Essene Endowment for Graduate Student Fellowships:
For graduate student support.
William Herbert Hobbs Fellowship in Geology:
For a scholarship to benefit an undergraduate or graduate student chosen for merit in geology. Preference is to be given to the student(s) who has specialized in glacial geology. Historically used for first year graduate fellowships and graduate student aid
Russell C. Hussey Scholarship:
A scholarship to benefit an undergraduate or graduate student in Geological Sciences. Historically used for first year graduate fellowships and graduate student aid.
Inglis-Holmes Scholarship:
Receives income from gifts and donations. Expenditures are to benefit female undergraduate and graduate students.
International Geological Field Excursion Fund:
Established with a gift pledge from an anonymous donor for international field trip support for undergrads and grads.
Susan M. Kruger Scholarship Fund:
A merit-based scholarship to benefit an undergraduate or graduate student for the study of geology, who shall be a US citizen, chosen for merit. Historically used for first year graduate fellowships and graduate student aid.
Ernest A. Novak Scholarship Fund:
Established by bequest from Ernest A. Novak for scholarship aid to graduate students in geology, environmental geology and oceanography based on need and merit. Historically used for first year graduate fellowships and graduate student aid.
Violeta Pena y Lillo Scholarship:
Established by a bequest from estate of Violeta Pena y Lillo. To support a female graduate student with an undergraduate degree in Geology.
Henry N. Pollack Endowed Graduate Fellowship in Geological Sciences:
The fund will be used to provide tuition and research stipends for graduate students and/or post-doctoral students. Historically used for first year graduate fellowships and graduate student aid.
G. D. Sharma Fellowship:
To aid student support.
Chester B. Slawson Memorial Fund:
For student aid upon the recommendation of the chairman of the department. Historically used for first year graduate fellowships and graduate student aid.
F. S. Turneaure Fund In Geology:
Scholarship support for undergraduate and graduate students based on need and merit who are majoring in geology. Preference given to students pursuing careers in mining, mining exploration or mineral geology.
