Opening roundtable features Ross Chambers, David Halperin, Esther Newton, Gayle Rubin, and Valerie Traub, and is followed by a reception in the Rackham Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. "Doing Queer Studies Now" is a project of the University of Michigan Rackham Interdisciplinary Workshop "Doing Queer Studies Now," produced in assocation with the Univerisity of Michigan Institute for Research on Women and Gender and under the advisement of Nadine Hubbs, Associate Professor of Women's Studies and Music.
