Are you curious about the hidden environmental footprint of your everyday technology use? Wondering whether AI use is helping or hurting sustainability goals? Eager to understand how our current reliance on technology connects to energy justice? Join us at the Greening the Cloud: Sustainability in AI and Technology event to get answers to these questions, learn from experts, and engage in interactive workshops with a cross-disciplinary group.

Speaker: Rabab Haider, Assistant Professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering whose research centers around energy and power systems and their design and operation in a decarbonized future. Haider utilizes data-driven methods and machine learning in her work and is passionate about investigating questions of energy justice and equity.

Prior knowledge is not needed to participate in this event.
