What inspired you to major in Biophysics? I was always interested in the way that the fundamentals of physics could be applied to biology and how quantitative methods could be used to understand complex biological systems, so when I heard about biophysics, it seemed like the perfect fit for me.

Have you particpated in an intership or research experience? Yes. My research interests are in therapeutic ultrasound imaging. This is my 4th year of being research assistant in Dr. Zhen Xu's Histotripsy group and I am in the process of completing an internship with the focused ultrasound foundation.
