The Villa of the Mysteries wall paintings have been a source of wonder and scholarly interest since they were first found in 1909 on the outskirts of Pompeii. This tour provides an immersive exploration of the Kelsey Museum’s nearly life-size representations of the Villa’s frescoes and what they reveal about life, religion, and ritual in ancient Rome.
