Would you like to improve your spoken English? Would you like to chat with someone who can answer your questions about life at U-M and in the U.S.? Would you like an opportunity to talk informally with U.S. students and students from other countries?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, consider joining a Chat Cafe.

These casual conversation groups are led by our Sweetland-trained undergraduate Chat Cafe Leaders. Each group includes up to 6 undergraduate multilingual students and a leader. Groups meet once a week at different locations on campus.

The Winter 2017 Chat Cafe signup officially opens Monday, January 9th. On the 9th a full list of Chat Cafe meeting times will appear.

After signup closes, your group leader will email you with the location of the first meeting.
