About
I am a joint PhD student in Health Policy and Political Science at the University of Michigan. My research focuses on market regulation and drug policy. I am interested in how states design markets under legal uncertainty and during the period of market emergence. My current work uses moral commodity cases, including cannabis, tobacco, and opioid policy, to explore how market design functions when contradictions between local, regional, and national legal systems are present. Prior to pursuing a degree at the University of Michigan, I was a policy advisor at The Kennedy Forum/Scattergood Foundation with expertise in behavioral health insurance coverage. I received my B.A. and M.P.H. degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.
