12:00-12:00 PM
Michigan in Washington (MIW) is a full-semester program in Washington, D.C., open to U-M students from all majors. Students complete a full-time internship during the day and take U-M courses in the evening. MIW provides support with the internship search, application materials, interviews, housing, and the transition to living and working in D.C.
Winter 2027 applications are due September 25, but we will begin reviewing applications and interviewing qualified students as they are submitted. Admission decisions will also be made on a rolling basis, so we strongly encourage you to apply early rather than waiting until the deadline.
Please also keep in mind that our two required professional development sessions will be held on Saturday, October 3, and Saturday, October 31 and they are mandatory.
