Alumni Connections

U-M History PhD alumni who appeared at the 2019 conference, "U-M History in the Public Service: A Vision for the Humanities Degree in the 21st Century."

We empower undergraduate and graduate students to find success in a variety of diverse career trajectories. Our goal is to build strong connections with alumni. Fortunately, the Department of History has a large network of successful alumni in an extensive range of careers. In fact, Michigan's graduates are part of the biggest alumni community in the world, currently numbering around 585,000.

On November 21-22, 2019, U-M History presented  "U-M History in the Public Service: A Vision for the Humanities PhD in the 21st Century." This conference served as a debut for our expanding HistoryLab and PhD internship programs, but also an opportunity to talk with PhD alumni and colleagues about how to expand, improve, and implement our goals.
