Perched on the Scottish coast and only 50 miles from Edinburgh, the medieval town of St. Andrews is full of history and community. Connect easily with the rest of Europe using the great roads, rails, and regular flights in and out of Scotland.
The University of St. Andrews is the oldest of Scotland’s 4 ancient universities and the third-oldest in the English-speaking world. Take 2-3 classes at a time to earn 12-16 credits in the arts, humanities, social sciences, natural and physical sciences, mathematics, or computer science. The academic year program goes from September to June with breaks in December and March-April.
The University of St. Andrews offers over 120 student societies and over 50 sport clubs. With these organizations, students can participate in a charity event, perform in castle ruins, join the student radio station, or enjoy an afternoon of kite surfing or rugby.
