Oxford is a medieval city in south-central England that revolves around its world-famous university. Hertford College is part of the University of Oxford system, located in the center of Oxford, opposite the Bodleian library and the Sheldonian Theater.
The prestigious Hertford College program accepts a limited number of visiting students each year. In the tutorial system, ahallmark of an Oxford University education, students will meet with a professor one-on-one for an hour each week and will conduct independent research the remainder of the time. Earn 18-24 credits in subjects such as English literature, history, politics, philosophy, anthropology, and classics.
Hertford College has many student societies and organizations to help international students integrate into campus life. Previous visiting students have enjoyed the boat club, rowing club, drama society, fencing club, Socrates society, Scottish dancing society, golf club, and university orchestra.
