Sciences Po is France’s top political science program and is the alma mater of many French politicians, diplomats, and policy makers. University of Michigan students have the opportunity to study for a semester or year at the Sciences Po campus in Reims or in Paris, France. The program is geared toward students with an interest in political science, international studies, and similar social sciences, with courses taught in English or French.
Paris is a central hub for many international organizations, making this the perfect location to study at this university. During free weekends, explore Paris and its array of museums or visit the countryside which will give students a comprehensive understanding of French culture. Students in the undergraduate exchange program on the Paris campus can earn 12-18 credits and choose from a wide range of courses taught in French or in English in the humanities and social sciences: law, economics, history, humanities, political science, sociology, and international relations.
Note: French courses offered at Sciences Po Paris cannot be used to meet the LSA language requirement for French. If a student is interested in taking classes abroad to fulfill the LSA language requirement, they should contact a CGIS advisor or the LSA Romance Languages and Literatures Department.
