This program is designed for students interested in completing the final course of their French language requirement, while at the same time expanding their knowledge of French culture. While on this intensive French language program in Aix-en-Provence, students will have a schedule packed with course-related site visits. Students are housed with host families, providing more integration into French culture. Aix-en-Provence is a Provençal town located in the south of France. Students also take a 2-credit course in English taught by a local instructor. As part of the program, students will participate in a variety of local excursions, day trips, and activities such as cheese tasting.The program is taught and led by U-M French Lecturer in Romance Languages and Literatures, Alan Ames.
