- CGIS Portfolio of Programs
There are thousands of study abroad programs around the world. Some are sponsored by universities, others are run by third-party providers who maintain the infrastructure necessary to provide a safe and rewarding educational experience for US students. For a complete and current list of CGIS programs, visit the Programs section of this site.
CGIS maintains a portfolio of around 100 programs. We strive to offer opportunities that correspond to the needs and wants of the the UM (primarily LSA) community. We take into account geographic distribution, academic focus, level and quality of student support, affordability, program duration, and student demand.
CGIS monitors and evaluates all of our programs on a continuous basis. This includes regular review of student feedback, direct communication and collaboration with representatives from the host institutions or providers, reference checks, feedback from other US universities who utilize the same programs, and site visits by UM faculty and CGIS staff.
CGIS is dedicated to providing global education opportunities of the highest quality to our students.
