Fall/Academic Year Study Abroad Advising Fair?
That's OK! We recorded our sessions, which you can find below. If you have any questions or concerns, you can still contact us at email@example.com or call us at 734.764.4311. Don't forget that if you didn't attend a First Step session during the event, you can still attend one every Monday & Tuesday from 12-12:30PM & every Wednesday & Thursday from 6-6:30pm while classes are in session during the fall & winter term. This excludes U-M scheduled breaks, study days, examination days, etc. Summer sessions will be announced in May. First Step sessions are a required part to the CGIS application.
2022 Fall/Academic Year Advising Fair
Germany & Czechia Abroad
- What does Central Europe have to offer? Look into our semester and academic year offerings in Berlin, Freiburg, Tuebingen and Prague. Study German, Czech, international relations, sociology, history, political science and more. Programs are available in both English and German.
Ecology & Wildlife with the School of Field Studies
Earn 16-18 credits while actively discovering and understanding the complexities of environmental, social, and economic issues in locations such as Kenya, the Turks Caicos Islands, Panama, and more. Come learn more about the School for Field Studies (SFS) hands-on, experiential learning semester programs.
Semester in Australia
- Spend a semester (or two) in Australia and immerse yourself in the culture of the land down under! Our programs in Australia are direct enrollment programs where you will become a student at the University of New South Wales (Sydney) or the University of Melbourne (Melbourne). UNSW offers credits for students in a wide variety of disciplines such as Psychology, BCN, Economics, Computer Science, and many more. UMelbourne is known for its strong liberal arts programs and offers courses in many disciplines as well. Come learn more about these programs and how they can fit into your UMich academic career.
Study Abroad in the UK
Spend an academic year or semester abroad in the UK. Earn 12-16 credits in various courses spanning the sciences, humanities, and social sciences. All U-M students who study in the UK academic or semester program are fully integrated into the school’s academic life and follow the same course of study as degree-seeking students abroad. Locations include London, Sussex (Brighton’s London by the sea), Oxford, and Cambridge. Don’t forget St. Andrews, Scotland!
Exchange in Asia/China
Be an exchange student in South Korea, Japan, Singapore, or China for a semester or academic year. Study alongside other international students while taking English-taught courses which can be applied towards your major, minor, and/or distribution requirements. These exchange programs allow students to become more immersed in the local culture and language of each host country.
France in the Fall
Spend the academic year or fall semester studying French, international relations, economics, public policy, and more in Paris, Riems, or Aix-en-Provence! English courses are available in all locations!
